Cipmox 250 MG Capsule is an antibiotic. It is used orally to treat different types of bacterial infections of the throat, lungs, ears, nose, urinary tract, and skin. Cipmox 250 MG Capsule is also used with other medications to stop the growth and kill Helicobacter pylori bacteria that cause stomach ulcer(s). It is not effective against infections caused by viruses or fungus.
Cipmox 250 MG Capsule shows side effects like diarrhoea, stomach pain, headache, weakness, nausea, and vomiting. Consult your doctor if any of these side effects persist or worsen. Drink an adequate amount of water to prevent dehydration as this medicine may cause diarrhoea. Avoid taking this medicine if you have a known allergy to it and discontinue if any allergic reactions (skin rash, hives (itchy, painful eruptions that sting), swelling of face, lips, etc.) are experienced.
Cipmox 250 MG Capsule can be taken with or without food, and at the same time every day to ensure its better efficacy. Take the capsule as a whole without crushing or breaking it. Make sure that the course of antibiotic treatment is completed as directed by your doctor. Do not stop taking Cipmox 250 MG Capsule on your own even if you feel better. Cipmox 250 MG Capsule should be used cautiously by individuals with kidney problems, heart and liver problems.
Cipmox 250 MG Capsule can make birth control pills less effective. You may be asked to use a different birth control method to prevent unintended pregnancy. Cipmox 250 MG Capsule can interact with other medicines. Inform your doctor if you are taking any medicines before starting the treatment with this capsule. Inform your doctor if you are pregnant, planning a pregnancy or are breastfeeding before taking Cipmox 250 MG Capsule.

HOW TO USE CIPMOX CAPSULE

Cipmox 250 Capsule is generally considered safe to use during pregnancy. Animal studies have shown low or no adverse effects to the developing baby; however, there are limited human studies.
 
Breast feeding

Cipmox 250 Capsule is safe to use during breastfeeding. Human studies suggest that the drug does not pass into the breastmilk in a significant amount and is not harmful to the baby.
 
Driving

Cipmox 250 Capsule may cause side effects which could affect your ability to drive.
Cipmox 250 Capsule can have side effects and the symptoms (such as allergic reactions, dizziness and convulsions) may make you unfit to drive.
 
Kidney
CAUTION
Cipmox 250 Capsule should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Cipmox 250 Capsule may be needed. Please consult your doctor.
Use of this medicine is not recommended in patients with severe kidney disease.
 
Liver
CAUTION
Cipmox 250 Capsule should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of Cipmox 250 Capsule may be needed. Please consult your doctor.
Regular monitoring of liver function tests is recommended while you are taking this medicine
